. Step #2 . Motion

Choose how you want your gate to move

Roll/Slide

Gates roll along on a track, opening in a linear fashion. The gate will slide along existing fence or structure, making this is a great option if you are pressed on space.

Swing

Gates swing open just as a door does. You can have 1 or 2 fences in the scenarios. Because of the swinging motion, this option requires a tad more space to function.

. Step #3 . Power

Choose how you want to power your gate

Hardwired

Hardwired systems are slightly more dependable but do take more work to hook it up to your grid. This is the most common option for gates relatively close to homes, sheds, and other power sources.

Solar

While you are dependent on sunlight, a battery bank allows your system to operate even on dreary days. This is a a great option for gates far away from power sources or complex electrical situations.
